Loyola Law School - Girardi Advocacy Building

Speakers:

David Ball is the foremost trial consultant in the United States.  He has interviewed thousands of jurors and has helped devise trial strategies in hundreds of cases.  He has learned that jurors come into court with preconceptions about tort reform, what lawyers are really like, who is going to profit in trial, and when jurors are open to argument and when they are not.  He knows how to get jurors to listen to lawyers and will provide not only the results of his studies of jurors, but will also share specific techniques to help trial attorneys connect with jurors in voir dire, openings, closings and examination.

Signed copies of Mr. Ball's books will be available at a discount at the seminar.

 R. Rex Parris is one of the foremost trial lawyers in America.  He has won many seven and eight figure verdicts for his clients.  One reason for his success is his meticulous research into the themes, metaphors, and language that persuade jurors.  He has written extensively about the difference between Baby Boomer, Generation X, and Generation Y jurors, and the different approaches that must be taken to reach them.  He will share his findings and techniques and let you know how to persuade the diverse jury pools of today. He is the founder of Cognitive Legal Science, a cutting edge, cognitive research firm that focuses on jury decision making.
