University of Florida named Champion of
Loyola Law School's First Annual National Civil Trial Competition


The first annual National Civil Trial Advocacy Championship, held on November 14-16 , 2002 in downtown Los Angeles, attracted 14 of the top trial advocacy teams in the nation, including: University of Akron, University of Alabama, Campbell University, Chicago-Kent College of Law, Cumberland School of Law, University of Florida, Georgetown, University of Houston, Loyola Law School, McGeorge, Pepperdine, South Texas College of Law, Temple, and Syracuse.

The final round was held on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at Loyola Law School’s newly completed Albert H. Girardi Advocacy Center, in the Robinson Courtroom. Loyola Law School is grateful to Greene, Broillet & Wheeler, LLP for its sponsorship of the first west coast national invitational tournament.
